To support our growth, we are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team in The Hague, Netherlands.

The Sales Lead plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and expanding market presence. This position serves as the primary point of contact for clients, responsible for developing and nurturing long-term relationships. A combination of technical expertise, strategic sales planning, and a hands-on approach is essential for securing new business opportunities and ensuring successful project execution.

  • Oversee and manage the tendering process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Leverage knowledge of cranes and offshore equipment to effectively communicate with clients and understand their needs.
  • Actively engage in problem-solving and take a proactive role in driving sales initiatives.
  • Negotiate contracts with customers, ensuring compliance with budgetary, technical, operational, and contractual terms.
  • Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and secure orders to drive company growth.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with potential and existing customers.
  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and high customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct research to identify trends, potential clients, and growth opportunities within the industry.
  • Enhance online presence, participate in industry events, and strengthen brand visibility.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or Business.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the wind energy or offshore sector.
  • Strong understanding of heavy lifting and offshore operations.
  • Ability to balance technical, operational, and financial considerations when negotiating contracts.
  • Hands-on, results-driven approach with a strong focus on pushing processes forward.
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders and projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with clients and internal teams.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
