Internship

LiftOff is a highly specialized contractor focused on major components exchanges in offshore wind turbines using up-tower cranes. We operate globally offshore and across Europe onshore. Our team is small and experienced. In the office we develop new solutions for the challenges the offshore industry hasn’t fully solved and in the field, we execute them.

We offer internships primarily for students in Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Maritime Engineering or related technical fields. Our work includes floating wind, where major component exchange methodology is still evolving.  Assignments have a research and development character: think method development for new lifting solutions, feasibility studies or engineering challenges that don’t yet have a standard answer. You will work alongside experienced engineers on real projects.

We also welcome graduation students looking to conduct their final thesis project in a technically challenging offshore context.

Not studying engineering? Occasionally, we have room for interns in HR, communications or sales support. These are these are not structural; they depend on where we have a genuine need at the time. If your background is in HR, communications or business (or if you are working engineering but want to explore the commercial, tender or sales side of our work) and you are genuinely curious about how specialized offshore contractor operates, tell us what you would want to work on. A strong, specific motivation goes a long way.

• You are enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s program
• You can work independently and take ownership of an assignment
• You are comfortable in a small, no-nonsense team where everyone contributes
